To preserve the waterproof performance of your StableSkin jacket, we recommend avoiding frequent machine washing. Overwashing can damage the waterproof coating and reduce effectiveness over time.
For regular everyday care, a simple hose down or wipe with a damp cloth is usually enough to remove mud, dirt, and everyday grime leaving your jacket looking good as new.
Improper washing, drying, or storage can cause damage to the fabric and the coatings to wear prematurely and overall performance to decline.
When worn frequently, built-up mud and debris can gradually degrade the outer layer if not cleaned correctly. With the right care, your StableSkin jacket will retain its structure, waterproof protection, and premium appearance performing season after season.
If using a machine to wash your StableSkin, please make sure the tray is clean of all conditioner or detergent.To preserve your StableSkin jacket for the long run, we recommend using a high-quality technical wash and re-proofer. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions to maintain the waterproof coating and overall performance.
